Aussie NSUers Association Inc., the first and largest alumni association of North South University alumni community in Australia with more than 1400 members, proudly hosted the spectacular 𝗡𝗦𝗨 𝗔𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗻𝗶 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 on 22 November at the prestigious Canterbury League Club. The celebration brought together North South University official delegates, graduates, families, and distinguished guests for an unforgettable evening of celebration, connection, and history with their alma mater.

The evening was honoured by the presence of 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗿 𝗗𝗿. 𝗔𝗯𝗱𝘂𝗹 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗵𝗼𝘄𝗱𝗵𝘂𝗿𝘆 - 𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼𝗿, 𝗠𝗿. 𝗕𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗷𝗶𝗿 𝗔𝗵𝗺𝗲𝗱 - 𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗲𝘀, and 𝗗𝗿. 𝗛𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗻𝘂𝘇𝘇𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝗼𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗹 - 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗳𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆.

𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿’𝘀 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝘀 𝗶𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝗮 𝗵𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗰 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝗦𝗨 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 - 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘂𝗴𝘂𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗦𝗨 𝗔𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗻𝗶 𝗜𝗗 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗮𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗵, 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗹𝗮𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝘆𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝘂𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗲 𝗡𝗦𝗨𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝗰. This milestone reflects the growing impact of the NSU diaspora and reinforces the strong bonds maintained across continents.

In this landmark moment for the global NSU community, they personally witnessed handing out 70 Alumni ID Cards to NSU graduates in Australia — a proud achievement made possible through the collaboration between Office of External Affairs - OEA at North South University and the Aussie NSUers Association Inc.

The elegant venue provided a stunning backdrop for the night’s festivities, with its refined ambience perfectly complementing the event’s theme of Glitz & Glamour. Guests were treated to a delicious grand buffet, offering a diverse selection of culinary delights that was widely praised by attendees.

Entertainment for the evening was headlined by the incredibly talented band “The Crew”, who transformed the room with their electrifying performances and kept the audience captivated through their spell. Their musical energy, combined with engaging games and interactive segments, created an atmosphere full of joy and community spirit.

One of the night’s most anticipated moments was the exciting raffle draw, featuring premium prizes that added an extra layer of thrill to the celebrations. Families were also delighted by an adorable children’s performance, as the children of alumni members recited Bengali poems with their charming innocence.

The successful organisation of NSU Alumni Night 2025 stands as a testament to the dedication and unity of the NSU alumni community in Australia.
